Department of Physiotherapy“Relieve Pain. Regain Your Life”
The team of physiotherapists at C-DOT hospital are trained medical professionals who utilize exercises to strengthen muscles and enhance function. They assess the condition and then based on the doctor’s prescription recommend the best set of physiotherapy exercises for rapid relief. These exercises range from single to high-level postures which help repair the body and restore full bodily function. Physiotherapy also helps to restore a balanced emotional mental state which is crucial for holistic treatment. Physiotherapy exercises have been proven to be the beneficial way to help treat and prevent injuries and pain related to varied diseases. We also provide specialized treatments such as wax therapy, traction and electrotherapy.
For us, it is clear that every symptom is a cause. At C-DOT, we are always looking for the cause.
Causes for your problems can be: acute injuries, operations, untreated contaminated sites and adaptations of the body to the requirements in everyday life.
Since our body is designed for functionality and economy, it will always choose the chain of follow-up that gives it the slightest evil and the associated symptoms.
OUR BASIC STRATEGY:
We treat the cause and its chain of consequences in order to improve their quality of life in the long term.
- Back pain including sciatica
- Neck & Shoulder pain/whiplash
- Joint pain & Stiffness
- Sports, muscle & tendon
- Foot/knee & hip pain
- Ligment Injury
- Osteoporosis/bone health
- Post-orthopaedic surgery conditions
- Women's health conditions
Findings - Anamnesis
The basis of our therapy is always an accurate finding, testing and a detailed history. The more accurate the information, the better it is possible to draw connections and conclusions about the current problem or pain situation.
CMD - Jaw joint mobilization
A jaw joint problem can have a variety of causes. It often manifests itself through a pain in the cheek area (often crunching or biting at night) or a crack at the mouth opening or closing. By mobilizing the cumular and surrounding muscles, the problem can be reduced or solved. The treatment should be carried out in close cooperation with your treating dentist or orthodontist, as a rail supply is often necessary to relieve the jaw joint.
The term physiotherapy no longer lives up to modern physiotherapy. It allows us to guide exercises, apply soft tissue techniques and actively mobilize joints & passively. Due to the significantly higher proportion of active measures, the patient is physically more demanding.
Manual therapy is one of the 3 main pillars of osteopathy. It allows us to feel interference fields (disturbances, restrictions, tensions or blockages) in the body through our hands and to release them by means of selected techniques, such as myfascial techniques.
Manual lymphatic drainage
Is the means of choice for lymphoedema and after surgery if swelling is present. Because the faster swelling (edema) disappears, the less the tissue becomes irritated. The healing process is positively influenced and accelerated. In combination with Veno-lymphatic decongestion techniques, manual lymphatic drainage is unbeatable.
